JUNIOR CAMPS
U12 Regrouping Camps
The Under 12 Provincial Regroupings are a new initiative started by Tennis Canada and TNS in 2001. The camps are designed to give young tennis players an opportunity to receive encouragement and feedback on their development from Alberta coaches.
The provincial camps are held twice in the indoor season, and twice during the outdoor season. From those camps, players are chosen to participate in a regrouping with the province of British Columbia. The teams alternate traveling and compete in singles and doubles over a fun filled weekend. A Tennis Canada National coach attends the Regional Regroupings along with one coach from Alberta and one from BC. Players are also eligible to receive a wildcard from Tennis Canada and participate in a U12 Nationals training camps.
