JUNIOR FUNDING & GRANTS
TNS believes in the "game of tennis" and that includes financially supporting our athletes. Currently we provide financial assistance for those who travel to Nationals or those representing Alberta at provincial or national games. As a non-profit organization we are continually researching funding opportunities so that we may better serve the needs of our members and the tennis community. A few of our funding initiatives and grants available are:
Fundraisers
Miller Cup Pro-Am/Silent Auction Fundraiser
The Miller Cup Pro-Am is an event that originated in the year 2000 and is held in conjunction with the Alberta Outdoor Junior Provincials.
This event attracts pros and amateurs from all over Alberta and athletes can expect a fun-filled day of friendly competition. After the
play is finished, participants are invited for a silent auction and dinner. There are many exciting items to bid on and guests are
guaranteed to enjoy themselves! Your participation over the last 3 years has made this event a great success, with revenue steadily
increasing. Our next Miller Cup Pro-Am/Silent Auction Fundraiser is scheduled to take place in Red Deer in June or July .

Casino
A Casino is a great opportunity to raise dollars for our programs and every 2 years TNS is awarded a Casino. The monies generated from the event provide assistance to our juniors that are traveling to Nationals or participating on Games teams.
You don't have to be a high roller to support this event.
We are eagerly awaiting volunteers and would love to have
you join our team. If you are interested in lending a hand
with this worthwhile event please contact us directly at (780)
415-1661 or info@tennisalberta.com
Our next Casino will be held in 2006.
